Old Siam Area

November 28-29, 2014 RMUTR; Old Siam

An old friend of mine, Mae Gacuya, finally got some free time to spare so we were able to do some catching up when I visited her last Friday.

It was Sports Day at the university where she teaches, so it was bustling with students performing and cheering onstage and off. I arrived at the same time the final cheerleading production number was taking place. When it was finished, my friend took me up to meet some of her colleagues and enjoy a quick tour of the school. Then we spent a couple of hours exploring the markets nearby and within Old Siam area.

I slept over at her place not far from the university at the other side of the Chao Praya River. We had such a fun time and many a good laugh reminiscing life back in Dimakya Island in Palawan, Philippines where we used to work together.

I am looking forward to another visit to her university to try the tasty-looking french fries I saw a group of students feasting on.

Below are some photos I took with my smartphone. Click on an image to watch the slideshow.
